ABOUT
Laxity along the jawline, neck, arms and abdomen sits below the surface, in the subdermal plane. QuantumRF is designed to treat that layer directly: a lightweight, polymer coated handpiece is placed under the skin and delivers precision pulsed bipolar radiofrequency energy to the subdermal plexus.
QuantumRF is a technology on InMode's Ignite RF System, which the FDA cleared for use in dermatological and general surgical procedures where coagulation or contraction of soft tissue, or hemostasis, is needed. It is a prescription device. Kenzi MedSpa operates all three handpieces, QuantumRF 10, 17 and 25, and Dr. McKenzie will assess whether the treatment is appropriate for you and which areas are worth treating.
HOW QUANTUMRF WORKS
Radiofrequency Delivered Under the Skin
QuantumRF reaches a layer that surface devices treat indirectly, using bipolar radiofrequency delivered through a slim handpiece placed in the subdermal plane.

Bipolar Energy, Subdermal Plane
The QuantumRF handpiece carries active internal bipolar electrodes and no external return electrode, so energy stays between the electrodes at the treatment site. InMode describes it as delivering precision pulsed bipolar radiofrequency to the subdermal plexus.

Three Handpiece Sizes
QuantumRF comes in three cannulas: QuantumRF 10, 17 and 25. InMode designed the range so the handpiece can be matched to the area being treated and to individual anatomy. Kenzi MedSpa is listed by InMode as operating all three.

A Physician Procedure
QuantumRF is minimally invasive and prescription only, which is a different category from a surface radiofrequency facial. InMode states no surgical suite is required. At Kenzi MedSpa the assessment and the procedure are both done by Dr. McKenzie.
IS THIS TREATMENT RIGHT FOR YOU?
QuantumRF at a Glance
QuantumRF is a minimally invasive procedure rather than a surface treatment, so it is not the right answer for everyone. Dr. McKenzie will review your skin, your history and your goals, then tell you whether QuantumRF or a non-invasive option fits better.

COMMON QUESTIONS
QuantumRF FAQs
What is QuantumRF?
QuantumRF is a minimally invasive device from InMode that delivers bipolar radiofrequency energy beneath the skin, to the subdermal plexus, rather than across the surface. It is a technology on InMode's Ignite RF System, which the FDA cleared for use in dermatological and general surgical procedures where coagulation or contraction of soft tissue, or hemostasis, is needed.
How is it different from a radiofrequency facial?
A non-invasive radiofrequency treatment works through the surface of the skin. QuantumRF places a slim handpiece under the skin so the energy is delivered in the subdermal plane instead. It is classified as minimally invasive and is prescription only, so it is planned and performed by a physician rather than delivered as a routine facial.
